Steve and his brother and I had a little band and we played together every day. Our mothers and our fathers were best friends. He was my next door neighbor in Woodland Hills in 1963. I knew him from Oingo Boingo and all those soundtracks with Danny Elfman. That’s the longest we’ve ever been together, and five of the guys were on the very first album in 1967.
